We didn’t start with investors or a franchise dream — just one truck, a couple of employees, and a mission to support a youth center in our community. But word spread fast, and the streets of Memphis showed up hungry.

What started as a way to give back turned into a full-time calling. Now with seven locations, two in the FedEx Forum,  (and more on the way), Taconganas is proud to serve Memphis with real-deal Mexican street food, made fresh and full of Ganas.

Our founder, Greg Diaz, was born in Mexico and raised in the U.S. from age 12. The youngest of ten, he grew up on home-cooked meals and the kind of hospitality that filled every chair at the table. That’s the culture we bring to every location: food that’s bold, made with pride, and served like family.

Taconganas means hunger. Hustle. Heart. And that’s exactly what we put into every taco — and into this city that’s helped us grow.
